Founder & CEO

Brenda is the founder and CEO of Launch and is on a mission to make a difference with nutrition. She truly believes food is medicine and can transform your health from the inside out. Brenda has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and is a registered dietitian. She believes food is the closest thing to a magic bullet when it comes to our health and wellbeing. Brenda is sick and tired of “sick care” and works tirelessly to help people live happy, healthier lives because they deserve it. When not working at Launch, Brenda enjoys cooking, usually without a recipe, but has chef Jeremy on speed dial for when things go awry (perks that come with working with a chef). She loves being active and can likely be found at the gym way too early in the morning.

    No. This program is helpful if you’re currently taking a GLP-1, considering one, or supporting someone who is. It’s designed to help you understand what to expect, how to eat well, and how to support long-term health.

  • Will this program tell me what medication to take or adjust my dose?

    No. This program is for education only and does not provide medical advice or prescribe medications. We recommend working with your healthcare provider for medication decisions, while using this program to support your nutrition and lifestyle.

  • What are your nutrition programs based on?

    Launch My Health was founded on the principle that food can be one of the most powerful medicines we have. Our nutrition & culinary programming is evidence-based and includes a whole fresh foods approach with an emphasis on a positive mindset and celebrating food. We believe flexible eating styles are more sustainable than diets that are restrictive, and we work to guide you in simple ways you can enjoy eating this way.

  • I have a food allergy/sensitivity and/or follow a specific diet. Will I be able to participate?

    Yes! All our recipes have options to be modified to fit a Dairy-free, Gluten-free, and/or Low-FODMAP eating style. Plus, you’ll find many excellent vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan options. The cooking courses are focused on honing your cooking skills. So, if you don’t like, or can’t eat an ingredient, you can swap it out for something that works for you. You’re in control.

  • How long does it take to complete this course?

    This course is designed to be used alongside your GLP-1 journey. The core content can be viewed in a short sitting, and the companion guide is meant to be referenced over time as your needs, symptoms, and goals evolve.
